along with the ones game said there is ebon
They can be found on mods from purple and gold items(maybe blue but I don't know). You use a salvage kit to get them off. I don't know if the level of the kit matters/ Regular expert or Superior. There is also perfect(if u have gwen). That will allow you to keep the item your are salvaging the hilt from 100% of the time |

You should be willing to spend 500g MAX, they are very common.

You can probably find an elemental hilt--regardless of which element--for between 500-1000g. Just beware, there is no Conjure Earth, so avoid Ebon hilts (earth damage) if conjure is your goal. My recommendation is Fiery, as relatively more enemies in PvE are vulnerable to fire damage than other elements... plus it will also synergize with elementalists in your group if they're running Mark of Rodgort.
All weapon mods (including elemental sword hilts) are found in loot attached to Unidentified purple and gold items (and possible blue as well, as was said). If you find one, use an Expert, Superior, or Perfect salvage kit to retrieve it. A regular 100g Salvage Kit will not allow you to retrieve mods or rare materials from items. Elemental mods aren't particularly rare to find, but since they're also one of the cheapest I would recommend just buying one instead of waiting around for one to drop. |
